I had this adorable Disney shirt that I outgrew a long time ago, so I thought I might transform it into something for DDdy.

Here it is!

It has velcro closure in the back. I hand sewed everything, it took over an hour to finish. But I am quite pleased with the result! ^^

 

 

I’ve been eperimenting with sewing quite a bit today, with the help of my grandma. I need to take pictures of all the outfits we made~

For today, I have pictures of a prototype ribbon bikini. It’s a bit too small and shows too much underboob so I’m going to edit the design later. I also made a bracelet. Yay me.

I was browsing the internet today for Dollfie Dream clothing items, and I must say…

I. Love. Dandelion!

Dandelion is one of the designers on CoolCat’s website. Most of their things are on eBay as well. The thing I REALLY love is that Dandelion’s clothing is fairly affordable, about the same as buying outfit sets for my American Girl Dolls back in the day. The more intricate things cost more of course, but even adorable slouch tops with pants or socks can run as cheap as $24 without shipping.

Here she is, my cute Dollfie Dream! I have named her Chie for now, though she may change names later. ^^

Her head is not painted yet but she will have some really pretty eyelashes and some sparkly, punk girl eyeshadow. I can’t wait! Her head goes in the mail for painting this week. ^^

She will also have another hairstyle to wear, a super long bright purple wig. ^^ I have sewn one outfit for her, but I need to be working on some more.

Just ordered my DDdy body today.

I got to thinking that maybe when I’m back for summer camp the doll body could be here waiting for me, so I went ahead! I managed to save up around $100 this week so I was able to order it without taking too big of a hit in the bank account.

I can’t wait until it gets here. This is the picture the seller sent me of the body I ordered. It’s in such good condition!

My new DDdy body!

I’m getting more and more excited every day about the purchase of my Dollfie Dream! I am doing a ton of chores around the house to try and earn some money so I can purchase the DDdy body.

I prefer the hips, waist and bottom of the DDdy body, but the chest is a little too big for my liking ^_^;;

Sometime in August I’m going to get a dollfie “normal” bust to put on the “Dynamite” body, the person doing my face-up for DDh03 agreed with me to sell me a used M bust for a good price. ^_^ So I will have a very cute doll with a “pear” type shape! (Then she will be like me and have to buy size S bikini tops and M bottoms when she shops at Wal-Mart!)

And then, I can’t help but comment on one of the newer Doll Party releases… I can’t afford the limited edition dolls, but if I was going to buy one, it would be this little lady! Neris!

GAH, SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL.

I haven’t played the game she is from but Neris is one gorgeous doll, I just love her character design, hair, and face-up. Plus those eyes are very nice. ^_^

In the meantime, I’m also thinking of buying this wig; though I want to see more pictures of the “choco purple” color to see what it really looks like!

Ooh, shiny.

I like the wig style, a lot like Kallen’s from Code Geass…but not exactly, which makes me happy, because I much prefferred other female protagonists in the series to Kallen. ^_^  (Shirley was WAY sweeter of a character. Just sayin’.) I always loved Kallen until they kept beating the viewer over the head with derogatory pantie-shot mecha piloting scenes and her constant tendency to take showers at ridiculous times. =P

Anyway, really looking forward to this dollfie stuff. ^_^ I can’t wait until it all starts coming together!

For my birthday two of my friends got me some pretty sweet nerd gear.

Apparently the two of them were having a competition for who got me the “best” gift.

I foiled their contest quite well by stating the truth– I love both the gifts equally! ;D

 

The first one of them got me this Gurren Lagann cosplay necklace! Woo! It’s very good quality and came in a really cool little tin. It’s awesome, though very heavy– it’s solid metal!

Now I can pierce the heavens!! 8D

My other friend got me a game I have been going into Gamestop and whining to the staff about seeing if it’s in stock… “Monster Rancher 4″ for the Ps2! I have always LOVED the Monster Rancher games dearly, but was never smart enough to shop online for this gem of an RPG. Luckily my friends have more brainpower than I do.

Now I can raise all the Lesiones I want! MUWA HA HA!

Last but not least my mom got me this shirt for my birthday because she is wonderful. I love you, Mom! I almost cried when I opened this, haha.

Dobby will always be there for Harry Potter.

So yeah, case in point…awesome birthday!

A week or so ago I got the urge to make myself a custom Gurren Lagann bag to carry my neon pink bikini inside of.

Using neon pink fabric paint and a metallic silver pen (It’s shiny on the fabric!) I got to work. Came out pretty awesome, I think, except for a few paint smudges.
